Ideation

Shape borrowing can be used to create a new design because we use a shape as a basic design and move on from there.


SCAMPER helps make a product better as it can remove unnecessary features to make the product more useful in what it's meant to do. It can substitute one feauture of the product. Also rearange the product and also modify it all to make it more effecient.

Design Appreciation

Bad Design:

The handle on the top doesn't open any of the drawers and it is a bad design causing confusion.

This mouse is bad because the rectangular shape doesn't fit the hand shape which means it's hard to scroll around with it and click.

Good design:

This computer has a good design because the screen can extend until it is 180º which is good so u can never over extend your screen.

This is a good product design as it stops tangly cords and it makes all the power cords easier to manage.
